Every message is checked

An AI safety check reads each pupil message and each tutor reply before anything is shown. If the check can't run, the message is held back rather than let through.

Concerns go to the right person

If a pupil says something worrying, they get a kind, supportive reply and the school's safeguarding lead is alerted.

Chats are not secret

Pupils always see that their teachers can read class chats. Nothing is presented as private or confidential.

Under-18 protections stay on

Adult and harmful requests are always blocked. Schools can't switch this off.

No doing the work for them

The tutor won't write whole essays or assessed programs. Pupils can report any answer that looks wrong.

Honest about limits

Safety checks can still miss things or raise false alarms, so teachers stay in the loop.
